Online personal trainer for the whole Philippines: a weekly call and a written plan

Wherever you are in the Philippines, Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, Davao or a town with no gym at all, you train on your own days with a written programme and your coach checks form and progress on a weekly video call.

Who an online personal trainer suits

Anyone in the Philippines outside the areas a coach can drive to: Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga, General Santos, Baguio, Bicol, Palawan, and every town in between. Also people who travel for work, overseas Filipinos who want a coach from home, and anyone who would rather keep the cost down by doing the sessions themselves. It suits people who already have a condo gym and just want someone to tell them what to do in it.

It is not a good fit for a complete beginner who has never lifted anything, or for anyone whose doctor has asked for supervision. For those people we recommend in-person sessions first, then online once the basics are solid.

What you get each week

A video call, usually 30 to 45 minutes, where the coach watches you move, corrects what needs correcting and sets the week. A written programme, sent as a document you can open on your phone, listing each day’s exercises, sets, reps and how hard it should feel. Between calls you can send short videos of a lift and get a reply with what to change.

The plan is written for the equipment you actually have: bodyweight and a mat, a pair of dumbbells, bands, or a full condo gym.

How online coaching is priced across the Philippines

Online coaching has no transport charge, because nobody travels, so it costs the same in Davao as it does in Manila. It is quoted after a short assessment, like everything else, and the quote depends on how many calls you want a month and how much written programming you need.

If you are inside the coverage area and later want the coach to come to you, you can switch to in-person sessions, where a transportation charge applies and is quoted by distance.

Questions about online coaching

What do I need for the calls?

A phone with a camera, propped so the coach can see your whole body, and enough signal for video. Most people use a chair or a stack of books.

Do I need equipment?

No. The first programme can be bodyweight only. Bands and a pair of dumbbells widen what the coach can give you.

Can I mix online and in-person?

Yes, if you are in an in-person area (Pampanga, Bulacan, Tarlac, Bataan, Metro Manila, Laguna and nearby Luzon). Some people do one in-person session a month and the rest online.

I am in the Visayas or Mindanao. Will a coach come to me?

Not yet. For Cebu, Iloilo, Davao and the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao, coaching is online: the call, the written programme and the check-ins are the whole service, and there is no transport charge. If in-person coverage opens in your city, this page will say so.
