Building strength without a full gym
A lot of strength can be built on two square metres with a pair of adjustable dumbbells, a kettlebell and a set of bands. The coach brings what the session needs and progresses the load week to week: more reps, then a heavier bell, then a harder version of the movement. Goblet squats become split squats, push-ups become weighted push-ups, band rows become dumbbell rows.
If you want a barbell, the coach can meet you at your gym or a condo gym with a rack, and the programme uses it.
Muscle building for people who eat rice
Muscle needs protein and enough food, and the Filipino table is good at the food part. The coach’s nutrition guidance for muscle is simple: a source of protein at every meal (eggs, fish, chicken, pork, tofu, beans), rice as the fuel around training, and sleep. No supplements are required, and none are sold.
What a strength programme costs
Strength coaching is quoted after a short assessment, where the coach looks at how you move now and what equipment you have. There is no published price. A transportation charge applies to in-person sessions and is quoted by distance; online programming has no transport charge.
