Weight-loss coach who comes to you and keeps rice on the table

Training you can keep up, plus small changes to how you eat that survive a family table with rice on it.

How the training side works

Weight loss that lasts comes from strength work, walking and a food routine you can hold for months. The coach builds sessions around strength first, because muscle is what keeps the weight off once it is gone, and adds short conditioning blocks that fit a small floor. There is no running in the noon heat and no hour on a treadmill.

Sessions happen at home, in your condo gym or at a clubhouse. If you already pay for a gym, the coach can meet you there.

Nutrition guidance that fits a Filipino kitchen

The guidance is habit-based. That means one or two changes at a time: a plate that is half vegetables and ulam before the rice goes on, a set meal time instead of grazing, water before merienda, a smaller cup for rice rather than no rice. The coach is not a dietitian and does not give medical nutrition advice; if you have diabetes, kidney problems or a diagnosed condition, we ask you to work with your doctor on food and we stay on the training side.

Nobody on this programme is asked to give up rice.

How long weight loss takes

It depends on the person. Most people find the first month is about building the routine and the second is where the clothes start to fit differently. We do not promise a number of kilos by a date, because anyone who does is guessing.

Questions about weight-loss coaching

Do I have to give up rice?

No. The guidance works on portion, order and timing, so rice stays. Most people find a smaller cup is enough.

Do you give meal plans?

We give habits and examples. A fixed menu breaks the first time the household cooks something else.

Is this medical advice?

No. Nutrition guidance here is habit-based. Anyone with a diagnosed condition should get food advice from their doctor or a dietitian.

How many sessions a week?

Two or three with the coach is the usual pattern, with walking on the other days.
